System Developer Business Intelligence and Software Robots

We are seeking a driven system developer passionate about creating insightful reports and visualizations in Power BI as well as building robust solutions using software robots (RPA). Your work will be central to making decision support available to decision makers in our administration and contribute to our development in Business Intelligence (BI). You will also build automated solutions with RPA that streamline our processes. The position is based at the Systems Support and Development unit, which supports and manages various economic systems for Västra Götalandsregionen.
Main requirements:
- Ability to develop and deliver new reports and dashboards in Power BI based on specific organizational needs.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure reports meet their requirements.
- Maintain and develop the reports managed by the BI team in close cooperation with stakeholders.
- Develop new (design and test) and maintain existing RPA solutions (troubleshooting, change management, further development) using UiPath.
Responsibilities:
- Create insightful Power BI reports and visualizations.
- Build and maintain RPA automated solutions to improve process efficiency.
- Collaborate within BI and RPA developer networks to share experiences and develop working methods.
- Support and maintain Västra Götalandsregionen’s economic systems along with Power BI and RPA programming.
Required hard skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI including DAX and Power Query.
- Experience creating reports integrating data from various sources and databases via SQL.
- Experience in RPA programming with UiPath.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C# or Python or other high-level languages.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
