System Administrator for our Business System

Responsible for managing and developing the Future customer and billing system, supporting business areas like recycling, district heating, and water/sewage at Borås Energi och Miljö AB. Key role involves system upkeep, user support, process optimization, and strategic development to ensure operational efficiency and data quality.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant education in IT, information systems, or similar field
  • Ability to manage and develop complex IT systems
  • Experience as system administrator in similar systems
  • Technical skills including MS SQL database, scripting/configuration, integrations, and basic programming
  • Ability to understand and interpret business needs to develop system support and processes
Responsibilities:
  • Manage operation, configuration, and development of the Future system
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify system needs and requirements
  • Lead a group of Superusers with knowledge in different business areas
  • Provide user support and training for system users
  • Improve and develop data quality within the system
  • Plan and execute system updates and improvements
  • Conduct maintenance meetings and be the main contact for the system supplier
  • Participate in long-term planning and strategic development of system functionality
  • Develop and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and quality
  • Implement changes and new methods to improve workflows and technical solutions
