We are looking for a service-oriented and technically interested support staff member for a consultancy assignment at a government agency. The role involves providing technical support to users regarding computers, mobile phones, tablets, digital meeting solutions, and software such as MS Word and SharePoint. The position requires good collaboration and communication skills, the ability to work independently, and to handle a high-paced environment. The role is security classified and candidates will undergo a security check.
Main requirements:
  • Upper secondary education
  • Experience in customer contact from a support function or customer service
  • Strong interest and good knowledge of functionality of computers, mobile phones, and tablets
  • Good knowledge of digital meeting solutions, MS Word including developer mode
Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to users regarding computers, mobile devices, digital meeting solutions, and software such as MS Word and SharePoint
  • Handle cases related to various hardware and software
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple contacts
  • Maintain a solution-oriented and service-minded approach
Required hard skills:
  • User support experience
  • Knowledge of MS Word and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with mobile platforms and digital meeting tools
Recommended hard skills:
  • Education/certification in support or customer service such as support center analyst
  • Knowledge of ITIL or other service management process models
  • Advanced skills in MS Word templates and SharePoint
  • Basic networking knowledge and familiarity with Active Directory
  • Certification or courses in MS products
  • Experience with IT support ticketing systems
  • Experience troubleshooting computers, mobile phones, and tablets
