Service Manager for Infrastructure Services

The Service Manager will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and refinement of the server service offering to ensure smooth and efficient functionality for users. They will collaborate closely with team members, external suppliers, other service managers, and technical architects to meet system requirements and needs. This role contributes to a large IT department's digital transformation focusing on creating solutions that make a difference in society by enhancing public safety.
Main requirements:
  • Academic education preferably in information systems, computer science, or equivalent experience relevant to the Criminalvården environment
  • Experience as a system or service manager
  • Experience with server infrastructure and virtualization
  • Experience working in large IT environments
  • Strong knowledge of server and storage systems
  • Good knowledge of IT security
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for operation, maintenance, and improvement of server service offerings
  • Collaborate with team members and external suppliers to ensure systems meet requirements and needs
  • Coordinate with other service managers and technical architects in the area
