Verisure is seeking a motivated Service Desk Intern to join their Internal Service Desk team in Malmö. This internship provides students in IT-related fields the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting users, troubleshooting technical issues, and managing technology in a professional environment. The role reports to the Service Desk Manager in Linköping and involves collaboration across teams in 8 countries.
Main requirements:
- Currently enrolled in IT, Computer Science, or related program
- Basic understanding of computer systems including Windows and/or macOS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Eager to learn and able to follow instructions
- Dependable, organized, and effective time management
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to staff including hardware, software, and connectivity issue resolution
- Manage service requests using the company’s ticketing system
- Assist in setting up and configuring laptops, desktops, and peripherals
- Support software installations, updates, and routine maintenance tasks
Required hard skills:
- Basic computer system knowledge (Windows/macOS)
- Familiarity with hardware and software setup
