Senior Test Automation Developer position at Veritaz AB, involving design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks for web and desktop applications, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Main requirements:
  • Proven hands-on experience in QA for web-based and desktop software
  • Strong expertise in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Power Automate, SOAPUI, Cypress)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test strategies, and QA best practices
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps)
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust test automation frameworks for web and desktop applications
  • Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
  • Conduct exploratory testing and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Review system architecture and designs to build effective automation strategies and mitigate risks
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and coordinate with development teams for timely resolutions
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing tools, processes, and practices in an agile environment
  • Support quality assurance in a hybrid working model with 3 days onsite in Ludvika, Västerås, or Göteborg
