An experienced project manager passionate about data-driven development and business-oriented project leadership is sought for a strategic IT initiative focused on improving traveler flows, enabling smarter decisions, and increasing revenue opportunities through data-driven solutions in Swedish infrastructure.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant academic degree
  • Proven experience leading IT/business projects with successful outcomes
  • Experience managing projects with many stakeholders and high complexity
  • Good understanding of traveler/customer flows, logistics or mobility
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decisions
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Combination of structure, independence, and strong collaboration skills
  • Leadership skills that foster engagement and security within the project team
  • Fluent Swedish speaking
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate business-oriented IT projects where technology, analysis, and business intersect
  • Develop and visualize traveler flows and customer journeys based on data
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues impacting decisions and customer experiences
  • Act as a link between technology teams, business, business development, and external suppliers, helping the client become more data-driven
  • Begin the assignment with a feasibility study where analysis and investigation form the basis for decision-making and future directions, including potential system procurement
Required hard skills:
  • Project leadership in IT/business projects
  • Data analysis and visualization
  • Understanding of traveler/customer flows, logistics or mobility systems
  • Ability to manage multi-stakeholder complex projects
Recommended hard skills:
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2)
  • Experience in transport, public transport, or public sector
  • Experience with procurement under LUF and working with external regulations
