An experienced project manager passionate about data-driven development and business-oriented project leadership is sought for a strategic IT initiative focused on improving traveler flows, enabling smarter decisions, and increasing revenue opportunities through data-driven solutions in Swedish infrastructure.
Main requirements:
- Relevant academic degree
- Proven experience leading IT/business projects with successful outcomes
- Experience managing projects with many stakeholders and high complexity
- Good understanding of traveler/customer flows, logistics or mobility
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decisions
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Combination of structure, independence, and strong collaboration skills
- Leadership skills that foster engagement and security within the project team
- Fluent Swedish speaking
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate business-oriented IT projects where technology, analysis, and business intersect
- Develop and visualize traveler flows and customer journeys based on data
- Identify and resolve data quality issues impacting decisions and customer experiences
- Act as a link between technology teams, business, business development, and external suppliers, helping the client become more data-driven
- Begin the assignment with a feasibility study where analysis and investigation form the basis for decision-making and future directions, including potential system procurement
Required hard skills:
- Project leadership in IT/business projects
- Data analysis and visualization
- Understanding of traveler/customer flows, logistics or mobility systems
- Ability to manage multi-stakeholder complex projects
Recommended hard skills:
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2)
- Experience in transport, public transport, or public sector
- Experience with procurement under LUF and working with external regulations
