Technical System Leader in Command and IT Systems

Lead and manage technical systems for signals protection within Sweden's total defense, ensuring maintenance, budgeting, coordination, and development of the defense command and IT systems at Försvarsmakten. Collaborate with a competent team to strengthen Sweden's defense through operational and developmental activities.
Main requirements:
  • Experience working with signals protection equipment.
  • Academic education in logistics, economics, systems science or equivalent, or long experience with equivalent knowledge obtained inside or outside the Armed Forces.
  • Good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish and English.
  • Driving license category B.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and order maintenance from maintenance providers.
  • Budget for maintenance based on orders.
  • Follow up on maintenance activities.
  • Receive new materiel and systems.
  • Follow up on change control activities.
  • Coordinate referral management of technical documents.
  • Support other functions related to the area of responsibility.
  • Reporting within the area of responsibility.
Required hard skills:
  • Experience with signals protection equipment.
  • Academic background in logistics, economics, or system science or equivalent experience.
  • Budgeting and economic follow-up skills.
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience working within the Armed Forces, FMV, or other government agencies.
  • Trained signals protection chief or signals protection instructor.
  • System operator for one or more signals protection systems.
  • Experience with integrated business systems, preferably SAP.
  • Experience with Integrated Logistic System (ILS).
