Main requirements:
- Minimum ten years of relevant experience in power electronics within industrial or marine applications
- Proven experience in component development, supplier interaction, and project delivery
- Deep expertise in hardware electrical and electronics engineering
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
- Strong analytical and system-thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate customer requirements into electrical systems
- Support development of technical roadmaps and gap analyses
- Contribute domain-specific engineering expertise to projects
- Develop and document electronic/electrical components and simulations
- Define component requirements and manage supplier relationships
- Lead supplier selection and manage technical delivery
- Evaluate and select components following internal standards
- Manage both complex and sets of simpler components ensuring quality and integration
- Lead and execute product strategy roadmaps
- Provide expert guidance in hardware electrical engineering
- Act as project lead and mentor colleagues
- Serve as subject matter expert for complex issues
- Maintain a strong T-shaped profile with deep or well-rounded expertise
- Align individual technical work with organizational and industry trends
- Articulate the value of engineering work in business and technical contexts
