Senior IT Operations Technician at Förvaltaren

Key role ensuring stable and secure IT platform operations. Work closely with business, lead technical improvements, and contribute to digital development. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and development with focus on critical OnPrem systems. Manage 2nd and 3rd line support, lead colleagues, handle vendor deliveries and ensure IT security compliance.
Main requirements:
  • Minimum five years of experience in similar roles
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft's ecosystem (Azure, M365, AD, Teams)
  • Experience working in hybrid environments
  • Practical experience with Windows client and server installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Experience proactively working with IT security and compliance (e.g., GDPR, NIS2)
  • Basic knowledge of networking and firewalls (Switching/Routing, TCP/IP, DNS)
  • Strong Powershell skills
  • Experience with patch management tools in Windows environments (Intune, Heimdal)
  • Knowledge of virtualization environments with VMware vSphere
  • Experience working with SQL
Responsibilities:
  • Administer and optimize Förvaltaren's server platform
  • Upgrade and maintain Förvaltaren’s operational environment
  • Implement and manage new installations in the operational environment
  • Ensure high IT security and compliance with regulations such as GDPR and NIS2
  • Conduct risk analyzes and define technical requirements for new systems and procurements
  • Ensure technical protective measures for personal data
  • Lead and support technical colleagues in daily work and joint initiatives
  • Act as technical expert and point of contact for major changes, projects, and incidents
  • Independently develop solution proposals and drive projects within responsibility area
  • Develop technical documentation, routines, and guidelines
  • Manage and follow up on deliveries from external suppliers, ensuring technical and business requirements are met
  • Stay updated on technological developments and security risks to propose IT environment improvements
