A Nordic technology team is seeking an experienced developer to enhance their work with a modern, cloud-based video platform. The assignment is central to how video is experienced, distributed, and personalized across multiple digital brands and markets. You will work in an engaged and knowledgeable team driving the development of video formats, metadata management, and market scaling.
Main requirements:
  • Strong experience with cloud-based infrastructure and service-oriented architecture
  • Solid knowledge in JavaScript, focusing on Node.js and React
  • Ability to take responsibility, collaborate effectively, and contribute to team direction
  • Experience working in distributed teams with good communication
  • Experience from media, video, or streaming platforms
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain cloud-native video infrastructure with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub etc.)
  • Build and improve tools for video distribution, metadata flows, and personalization
  • Participate in strategic initiatives involving vertical video format, unified metadata, and platform adaptation for multiple markets
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within the team, contributing to both planning and code
Required hard skills:
