Contribute to building scalable and efficient fulfillment solutions for Zalando's B2B logistics unit, ZEOS Logistics, connecting e-commerce platforms with Zalando's logistics ecosystem.
Main requirements:
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong skills in Java and Spring Boot
  • Solid understanding of microservice architecture, REST services, and API design
  • Experience deploying and operating applications on AWS
  • Some experience with frontend technologies like React, TypeScript, Webpack, HTML/CSS
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and Apache Kafka
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ownership mindset
  • Experience integrating third-party services or developing middleware solutions
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain software solutions impacting e-commerce fulfillment operations
  • Develop APIs and integrate solutions connecting e-commerce platforms and logistics services
  • Own full development cycle from architecture to maintenance
  • Work in microservices-based environment and operate large-scale AWS applications
  • Use Java and Spring Boot for high-performing solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile environment
  • Contribute to frontend development with JavaScript (ES6), React, and TypeScript
  • Ensure security best practices and optimize cloud infrastructures
  • Promote a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning
