A position for a senior DevOps developer at a leading Swedish Edtech company serving over 1 million users across thousands of schools. The role involves maintaining and improving the customer's operational environments and tools to support smooth development and deployment.
Main requirements:
  • Monitor and oversee customer's operational environments and applications
  • Responsible for capacity planning
  • Refine and develop existing monitoring routines and alerting
  • Patch and apply security updates to company environments
  • Maintain and update customer’s development environments for ease of use
  • Create tools that facilitate the development team
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor operational environments and applications
  • Plan and manage capacity
  • Enhance monitoring systems and alarms
  • Perform patching and security updates
  • Improve development environments
  • Develop supportive tools for the development team
Required hard skills:
  • Experience running large web applications
  • Knowledge of Docker, Linux, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, Ansible, PostgreSQL
  • Scripting or programming skills in Python, Bash, Java, or Go
  • Experience with continuous build and delivery processes
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with Prometheus, CheckMK, Kibana or similar monitoring tools
