Independently manage end-to-end delivery of data management services for single or multi-service projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time and within budget to customer satisfaction. Provide leadership and expertise in Clinical Data Management (CDM) to meet customer needs and lead teams in project execution, financial management, communication, and milestone deliverables.
Main requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in health, clinical, biological, mathematical sciences or related field
  • Minimum 7 years direct Data Management experience including at least 5 years as a CDM project lead
  • Proven competence managing multiple global clinical trials through full DM lifecycle (large trials with at least 1000 patients)
  • Expert data management skills with advanced knowledge of DM processes and technologies
  • Experience handling complex customer negotiations and bid defense independently
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Anatomy, Physiology
  • Familiarity with Good Clinical Practices and relevant regulatory guidelines
  • Ability to build effective relationships with coworkers, managers, and customers
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as primary contact for customers regarding data management deliverables
  • Lead multiple large or global clinical studies or programs
  • Manage continuous process improvements, escalation, workload projections, and provide technical expertise
  • Lead negotiations on timelines, financials, processes, and resources with clients
  • Maintain strong customer and internal communications
  • Coordinate with Data Operations team to ensure milestone adherence and quality
  • Train and mentor junior team members
  • Independently manage data management service delivery and resolve complex data issues
  • Assign appropriate resources to meet project deliverables
  • Review and approve data management plans and documents
  • Implement quality management plans and remedial actions
  • Drive service performance improvements and change management
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for CDM tasks or technologies
  • Manage financials including SOW, budgets, and change orders
  • Support RFP process and participate in pricing discussions
  • Lead process improvements and technology implementation
  • Present at professional conferences, publish articles, and contribute to operating procedures
