Senior Change Manager for Upgrade to IFS Cloud

We are seeking a senior Change Manager for a long-term interim assignment located in Västerås, starting in autumn 2025 (assignment duration up to 2 years). A major Swedish company is undertaking a comprehensive upgrade of its ERP system from an older version to IFS Cloud. The project has a clear process-oriented focus aimed at harmonizing and creating unified processes fully integrated into the new system. This is a consulting assignment through A-Talent Interim. As Change Manager, you will have overall responsibility to plan, drive, and follow up the change work within the project. You will work both strategically and operationally to support the business in adapting to new working methods, processes, and systems. In close cooperation with project management, process owners, and leadership, you will ensure that the change is anchored and implemented sustainably throughout the organization.
Main requirements:
- Documented experience in change management in large business projects
- Experience in ERP system projects, preferably within IFS or equivalent
- Ability to work process-oriented and drive harmonization of business processes
- Strong communication skills and experience working with various organizational levels
- Experience leading training and communication efforts during change
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement change strategy for the system upgrade
- Identify and analyze change needs
- Support process owners in harmonizing and standardizing governing processes
- Plan and conduct training and communication efforts
- Build a network of change ambassadors and key personnel
- Follow up on change maturity and adjust efforts as needed
Required hard skills:
- Change management in large scale projects
- ERP project experience (preferably IFS)
- Process harmonization and standardization
- Training and communication leadership
Recommended hard skills:
- Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP)
- Experience in manufacturing industry or similar
- Knowledge of cloud-based ERP solutions and process impact
- Experience working in matrix organizations or decentralized structures
