Security Coordinator

As a Security Coordinator, you will strengthen the Swedish Tax Agency's security capabilities and civil defense work by independently and collaboratively managing security and preparedness tasks. The role involves planning, coordinating, and ensuring compliance with security regulations, developing contingency and continuity plans, and conducting exercises to enhance organizational readiness.

- Relevant higher education degree (at least 180 credits or 120 credits) in social sciences, economics or law, or substantial relevant experience in security or preparedness work
- Current and relevant experience in security or preparedness within public sector or large organizations
Responsibilities:
- Drive and coordinate the administrative department's security and preparedness work in line with agency-wide planning and steering
- Specify security requirements in departmental processes and development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with current security and protective security governance
- Initiate, develop, and implement contingency plans, continuity plans, and other planning for security and civil defense management
- Plan and conduct exercises related to security and preparedness
- Provide support to department managers and employees
- Collaborate closely with the security unit, staff unit colleagues, and other departments
Required hard skills:
- Knowledge of security and preparedness work in public administration or large organizations
- Experience with contingency and continuity planning
- Understanding of legal and security frameworks
- Planning and conducting training and exercises in security or preparedness
