Lead the IT Transformation 2027 project which aims to establish a new IT structure and procurement capability in Mörbylånga municipality. Responsible for driving the strategic transition from the current IT provider to a modern, sustainable, and secure IT environment, ensuring continuity, user support, and realizing the municipality's digitalization goals focused on operational benefit, security, and innovation.
Main requirements:
  • Documented experience leading complex digitalization projects, preferably in the public sector
  • Good understanding of IT operations, infrastructure, system management, and information security
  • Experience working at the intersection of technology, operations, and management
  • Relevant academic education or equivalent professional experience
  • Clear communication skills and ability to establish trust and collaboration
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the IT Transformation 2027 project from strategy through implementation
  • Implement action plan based on consultancy investigation
  • Procure and implement a new IT provider by January 1, 2027
  • Establish an internal procurement organization for IT and digitalization
  • Ensure continuity and user support during the transition
  • Contribute towards realizing the municipality's digitalization vision focusing on operational benefits, security, and innovation
