Project Manager at the 2nd Cyber Defense Unit

The Swedish Armed Forces Cyber Defense Unit is seeking a project manager with a strong interest in technological development within cyber defense. The role involves managing complex projects critical to cyber defense operations, coordinating and steering ongoing projects to develop cyber defense capabilities, reporting progress, and producing decision support for leadership. The position is full-time and based in Linköping, Sweden.
Main requirements:
- Academic degree in project management, computer science/IT, or equivalent education assessed by the employer
- At least 3 years of professional experience in project management within data/IT or equivalent experience
- Experience in compiling and presenting material both orally and in writing
- Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written
- Valid B driver's license
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and lead projects within cyber defense according to overarching policy and goals
- Work strategically to advance cyber defense capabilities through project management
- Follow up and report project progression to the commissioning manager
- Write reports and produce decision-making material for leadership
Required hard skills:
