As a Product Owner at Skatteverket, you play a central role in driving technical development forward by working with infrastructure services and acting as the link between business operations and development teams to guide decisions toward future solutions.
Main requirements:
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build trust with others
- Ability to analyze information flows, identify connections, and make decisions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to plan and drive work forward without ego
- Goal-oriented with initiative to achieve organizational objectives
- Effective oral and written communication skills in Swedish and English
- Relevant university or higher education in IT or alternative relevant IT education
- Several years of current and relevant work experience within infrastructure service delivery
- Current and relevant knowledge and experience in contract management, procurement, and forecasting/budgeting
- Current and relevant knowledge and experience in agile development
Responsibilities:
- Drive technical development of infrastructure services (server, network, storage, and data centers) within Skatteverket's Technical Service Unit
- Serve as the liaison between business units and development teams
- Guide development teams and decision-makers toward future technology solutions
- Balance strategic, tactical, and operational tasks to break down overall goals into manageable deliverables
- Contribute to the transition towards an information-driven and digitized organization
- Support and maintain stable delivery of existing services while managing large-scale changes
- Work agilely in close collaboration between IT and business to create value streams
Required hard skills:
- Infrastructure service delivery expertise (server, network, storage, data center)
- Contract management and procurement knowledge
- Budgeting and forecasting skills
- Agile development methodologies
Recommended hard skills:
- Experience working in complex IT organizations, preferably in government or large organizations
- Knowledge of modern technologies such as private cloud services, microservice architecture, and container technology
Soft skills:
- Good judgment and understanding of legal certainty and security
