Product Owner Data Warehouse

Lead and develop the data warehouse platforms and tools at Malmö city IT and digitalization department, ensuring strategic use of data to support decision-making and sustainable digitalization for the city's welfare services.
Main requirements:
  • Several years of experience with data warehousing/decision support and IT system lifecycle management
  • Strong knowledge in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and MS SQL Server
  • Experience communicating with developers, clients, operations staff, and DBAs
  • Relevant university or technical higher education, or equivalent experience
  • Very good Swedish language skills in speech and writing
  • Good English language skills
Responsibilities:
  • Manage Data Warehouse and Power BI Report Server platforms
  • Develop and implement strategies and development plans for the platforms
  • Engage in vendor dialogue and vendor management
  • Ensure lifecycle management of platforms
  • Compile budgets and monitor ongoing financials for the position
  • Conduct environmental scanning related to responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other IT and digitalization units and business specialists in the city
