LIMS Engineer

We are recruiting an experienced LIMS Engineer for Fresenius Kabi AB in Uppsala for a full-time 6-month consultancy assignment. The role involves system management, programming, and master data handling in a laboratory-related environment. Close collaboration with quality control and production teams to design, create, and maintain master data and templates in the LIMS system. Focus on improving and documenting procedures for efficient local LIMS management.
Main requirements:
- Interest and/or experience in system management, programming, and master data handling in a laboratory-related setting.
- Fluent communication in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of Excel.
- Programming skills in Visual Basic or SQL are meritorious.
- Logical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Preferred laboratory experience understanding processes and digital efficiency.
- Experience in administration, development, qualification, and validation of computerized systems in GMP/ISO-regulated environments is a plus.
- Structured, responsible, driven, innovative, goal-oriented, self-driven with strong problem-solving skills and service orientation.
Responsibilities:
- Co-own the LIMS system with colleagues.
- Design, create, and maintain master data/templates within the LIMS system.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Control and production teams to plan and develop master data according to business needs.
- Improve and document instructed workflows and procedures for effective local LIMS management.
