Product Manager, Sensor Platform

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of our complete sensor platform portfolio at Saab AB, with locations in Stockholm, Solna, or Gothenburg. The role involves driving technical direction, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing integration of antenna, compute, and sensor application software platforms.
Main requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with focus on software and hardware development.
  • Proven experience in product management, software development, hardware development or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills; ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Passion for innovation in technology and business models.
  • Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with software and hardware development methodologies, requirements management, and technical documentation.
  • Interest in technology and customer-centric approach.
  • Knowledge of antenna systems, high-performance compute systems, and software integration.
  • Experience from the defense or aerospace industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps aligned with strategic goals and market opportunities for the full sensor platform portfolio.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, systems architects, and product management to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  • Mentor and support engineers, fostering continuous learning and development.
  • Represent technical solutions internally and externally ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Oversee integration and interoperability of antenna platform, compute platform, and sensor application software to create cohesive innovative product offerings.
