Part-time Summer Data Protection Officer

We are looking for a self-driven and knowledgeable Data Protection Officer (DPO) for a part-time assignment with a banking actor in Stockholm. You will contribute your expertise in GDPR and data protection both in specific incident handling and as a supporting function for other operations. The assignment is during the summer with the possibility of extension into the autumn. The role requires part-time work to ensure ongoing and continuous monitoring of new incidents during the summer period. You will be based at the central Stockholm office and collaborate with colleagues from other locations, so initiative and communication are key success factors. You will have support from the regular DPO and compliance for specific questions during the assignment.
Main requirements:
  • Good competence and understanding of GDPR and data protection regulations
  • Previous experience as a Data Protection Officer is preferred
  • Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Experience in banking is an advantage but not required
Responsibilities:
  • Assess and document personal data incidents
  • Report incidents to supervisory authorities when necessary
  • Provide internal GDPR advice
  • Review and develop the bank's DPIA template
  • Control the bank's processing register
  • Support data protection related projects
  • Provide ongoing advice on data protection and information security
Required hard skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of GDPR and data protection laws
  • Experience in incident management related to personal data
  • Ability to document and report data incidents
