An Operations Operator within Network responsible for the operation and monitoring of the Swedish Armed Forces' LAN environment. This role involves working in a dynamic and challenging environment with advanced technology to contribute to Sweden's security.
Main requirements:
  • Education equivalent to CCNA or similar level.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
  • Valid driver's license for manual transmission vehicles (B license).
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for network-related questions and support technicians across the country.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and manage incidents within the Swedish Armed Forces' network environment.
  • Collaborate with technicians and engineers to identify and resolve problems.
  • Report and document events according to established routines and processes.
  • Develop technical competencies within network and IT operations.
Required hard skills:
  • Education at CCNA level or similar.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
  • B driver's license (manual transmission).
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with ticket management and monitoring systems.
  • Experience in IT or network operations.
  • Experience with switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Knowledge of signal protection equipment.
  • Familiarity with Arista / CVP systems.
  • Experience with Palo Alto devices.
  • Knowledge of Python scripting.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with Cisco ACI.
