Onsite Technician in Varberg and Halmstad (Part-time)

We are looking for a curious and service-oriented technician with a genuine interest in IT and digital solutions. The consultant will be an important extension of the IT organization, working closely with both the Service Desk and the Digitalization team on-site and close to the users. This is a part-time role (approximately 40-50%) suitable for someone with other commitments, based in Varberg and Halmstad, depending on local onsite support needs. The assignment starts as soon as the right person is found. As a consultant at Centric, you get secure employment and valuable work experience. Main requirements:
- Experience in technical support and onsite user support
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows/macOS
- Understanding of networking, VPN and cloud services
- Basic knowledge of IT security
- Experience in hardware management (PC, peripherals, etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and user assistance for a wide range of IT environments
- Handle daily issues related to computers (PC and Mac), mobile devices, user accounts, network connections, Microsoft 365, and standard software
- Perform installations, updates, license management, and hardware support from monitors to docking stations
- Advise on IT security matters such as suspicious emails, password management and data loss
- Participate in improvement initiatives related to digital work environments and process development, collaborating closely with IT operations
