On-site Technician

An on-site technician role involving troubleshooting, organizing work independently, and supporting users at their location with complex IT issues beyond helpdesk resolution.
Main requirements:
  • At least one year experience in similar tasks
  • Solid knowledge and experience with both hardware and software including laptops, monitors, Windows, Mac, tablets, networking, video conferencing solutions, and Office 365
  • Ability to work following ITIL framework
  • Experience with various ticketing/issue tracking systems
  • Driven and solution-oriented with ability to understand and improve work methods
Responsibilities:
  • Visit users on-site and provide IT support
  • Resolve more complex issues that the helpdesk could not solve
  • Troubleshoot programs and applications
  • Perform reinstallations and client configurations
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting for routers and switches
  • Troubleshoot printers, mobile phones, and email systems
  • Work with technologies such as Office 365, Windows/PC, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Azure, Microsoft Intune, cloud services, and adhere to ITIL practices
Required hard skills:
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Mac OS
  • Experience with networking basics including LAN/WAN, routers, and switches
  • Familiarity with Office 365 and cloud services (Azure, Microsoft Intune)
  • Experience using ticketing systems and ITIL processes
