Network Visibility System Technician

As a Network Visibility System Technician at Trafikverket, you will contribute to protecting the Swedish transport system by developing and maintaining network visibility infrastructure. You'll play a key role in building an engaged team to manage the agency's network visibility platform, supporting technical infrastructure improvements, and contributing to one of Sweden's most complex IT operations.
Main requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in IT or equivalent work experience
  • Current experience in server operation, network operation, or system administration in large, complex IT environments
  • Very good Swedish language skills, both written and oral
  • Good English language skills, both written and oral
Responsibilities:
  • Work on installation and planning of network visibility actions
  • Lifecycle management and action planning of underlying IT infrastructure
  • Continuous updating of documentation regarding routines and system descriptions
  • Participate in building both the network visibility infrastructure and the management team
  • Support and further develop the agency's technical infrastructure
Required hard skills:
  • Server operation in large complex environments
  • Network operation or system administration
  • Documentation skills
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with products such as Corelight or Gigamon
  • Experience with analysis platforms like Splunk or Elastic
  • Professional experience using Linux
