Main requirements:
  • Education in network technology or equivalent work experience
  • At least 3+ years of experience as a network technician
  • Swedish citizenship with clearance according to the Swedish Security Protection Act
  • Valid B driver's license
Responsibilities:
  • Operate, develop, and upgrade systems to ensure networks and systems meet highest security and functionality requirements
  • Troubleshoot network issues and analyze logs
  • Manage and maintain network equipment such as switches, routers, access points, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN technology
  • Build and maintain Saab network infrastructure with world-class security focus
  • Participate in projects including cloud migration and firewall upgrades
  • May involve some evening work for planned maintenance activities
Required hard skills:
  • Network technology knowledge
  • Experience with firewall and security technologies (e.g., Checkpoint, Fortinet)
  • Knowledge in scripting and automation
  • Certifications and/or experience with Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Citrix, and F5
  • Experience working with ITIL and ISO 27001 standards
