As a Network Specialist at Axis Communications AB, you will design and build advanced networks focusing on automation, network access control, and load balancing. You will ensure secure, high-availability networks while driving innovation and creating business value through network architecture. You will be part of the global Axis Infrastructure network team, owning network applications and responsible for strategic development of the global network.
Main requirements:
- Several years of experience in a similar role with knowledge in network access control, load balancing, and network automation.
- Experience working in a global organization understanding how the network fits within the larger agenda.
- Ability to lead technical development and translate strategies into concrete plans.
- Passion for innovation and ability to identify improvement opportunities and develop creative network solutions.
- Experience in technical leadership and roadmap building.
- Comfortable engaging in both detailed technical discussions and strategic forums.
Responsibilities:
- Set strategies and create action plans for network access control, load balancing, and automation.
- Lead technical development and guide colleagues in implementing network strategies.
- Drive and promote relevant network technologies within the team and business stakeholders.
- Drive change within the organization and liaise with stakeholders.
- Support the organization with secure, future-proof network solutions adding business value.

- Network access control technologies (e.g., Aruba ClearPass, Cisco ISE)
