HIL Test Infrastructure Manager – Automotive Embedded Systems

We are seeking a HIL Test Infrastructure Manager for Automotive Embedded Systems to work in Gothenburg for a global automotive company. This is a full-time consultancy position starting September 2025 with an initial 1-year contract and a possibility for extension. The role focuses on managing IT infrastructure environments related to Software Development, including defining IT infrastructure architecture and ensuring compliance with IT infrastructure landscape and security regulations. The manager will handle communication about infrastructure services, quality, performance, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate has an IT architect background, experience managing Hardware in the Loop (HIL) rigs, and knowledge of platform as a service environments. Strong team collaboration, result orientation, and willingness to share knowledge are important.
Main requirements:
- Master or Bachelor degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- Professional experience in IT infrastructure management with ITIL knowledge.
- Experience managing Hardware in the Loop Rigs (HIL rigs).
- Familiarity with software development infrastructure including Windows and Linux environments, networks, firewalls, computers and servers.
- Experience with infrastructure solutions for embedded software development such as Jenkins, Docker, PaaS and IaaS.
- Efficient requirement management skills and ability to bridge software factory and infrastructure solutions.
- Problem solving and continuous improvement experience, Agile ways of working are a plus.
- Proficiency in English and Swedish due to the local position in Lundby.
Responsibilities:
- Manage IT requirements and define IT infrastructure architecture aligned with company policies and security regulations.
- Ensure communication regarding infrastructure services, quality, performance, major incidents, and operational changes to stakeholders.
- Secure execution of the roadmap within the scope of infrastructure services.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and software development teams.
- Continuously develop own skills and improve working methods.
