This role involves building and maintaining a robust event-driven architecture within a technology company that values its mission and colleagues.
Main requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of Apache Kafka and platform architecture
  • Experience with Kafka ecosystem components like Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and ksqlDB
  • Understanding of automation and Infrastructure as Code using Ansible and Terraform
  • Experience with CI/CD tools
  • Familiarity with container platforms like Kubernetes or Docker
  • Strong insight into security, access control, and logging in distributed systems
  • Experience from mission-critical environments with high availability and security demands
  • Relevant university education or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English
  • Ability to pass security clearance according to Swedish security protection law
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage Apache Kafka clusters
  • Develop and operate components such as Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and ksqlDB
  • Optimize performance and handle incidents following ITIL processes
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices
  • Work proactively and reactively on design, implementation, operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Manage access control, log management, and security adaptations
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Participate actively in platform development and change management processes
