Main requirements:
  • Secondary school education or equivalent plus 4 years of relevant work experience, OR higher education in IT (e.g., university engineer with computer specialization) or equivalent IT education plus at least 2 years relevant work experience
  • Strong knowledge of computers, peripherals, operating systems, networks, communications, and information security
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
  • Experience with incident management systems (e.g., Easit GO or ServiceNow)
  • Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure daily IT operations run smoothly
  • Perform troubleshooting and determine optimal fault resolution methods
  • Serve as local IT technician mainly focusing on operational and developmental tasks for the local network environment and intra-building computer communications
  • Provide user support and assistance
  • Manage data communication, operations and data security for larger network environments, sometimes globally
  • Test new products and inform users about updates
  • Install and configure computers controlling network communications such as routers, servers and workstations
  • Work on securing IT operations, e.g., installing firewalls
  • Install software and customize it for the network
  • Handle technical responsibility for IT equipment in conference rooms, such as video meeting systems
  • Manage backups
  • Administer standard systems like mail and calendar
  • Administer backup, storage and application servers
