Main requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years relevant work experience, or higher education in IT with at least 2 years relevant work experience
  • Excellent knowledge of computers, peripherals, operating systems, networks, communication, and information security
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Easit GO or ServiceNow
  • Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure daily IT operations function properly
  • Troubleshoot and assess how to best resolve faults
  • Serve as local IT technician managing the authority's local network environment and intra-building communication
  • Provide user support and assistance
  • Manage data communication, operations, and security in larger network environments, sometimes globally
  • Test new products and inform users about updates
  • Install and configure network devices such as routers, servers, and workstations
  • Implement IT security measures such as firewalls
  • Install and customize network-related software
  • Technical responsibility for IT equipment in conference rooms, e.g., video meeting systems
  • Backup management
  • Administration of standard systems like email and calendar
  • Administer backup, storage, and application servers
