We are looking for an IT Technician for consulting assignments through Bemannia in the public sector across various locations in Västra Götaland. This role involves daily IT operations, user support, and managing local network environments. You will be employed on a fixed-term basis for projects that match your skills and interests.
Main requirements:
  • At least one year of work experience as an IT Technician
  • High proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of computers, peripherals, operating systems, networks, communication, and information security
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Easit GO or ServiceNow)
  • Upper secondary education or equivalent
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in daily IT operations and provide support to users
  • Act as a local IT technician mainly working with operation and development of the local network environment
  • Troubleshoot and assess the best way to resolve IT issues
  • Maintain computer communication, operations, and data security in larger network environments including computers at different locations and global networks
  • Test new products and inform users about updates
  • Install and customize network devices such as routers, servers, and workstations
  • Work to ensure IT operations security, e.g., install firewalls
  • Install software and adapt it to the network
  • Provide technical support for IT equipment in conference rooms such as video meeting systems
  • Manage backups
  • Administer standard systems like mail and calendar
  • Administer backup storage and application servers
Required hard skills:
