IT Support Technician

Join Halmstad Municipality to help shape, strengthen, and enrich everyday life for our community. We seek an individual to contribute to a better Halmstad by providing IT support with high competence and service level. You will work with IT service operations supporting around 35,000 digital tools and 40,000 user accounts, aiding the municipality's digital development.
Main requirements:
- Preferably two years of experience in IT support including user assistance and technical troubleshooting; new graduates with suitable personal qualities are welcome.
- Experience working with ticketing systems; experience with ServiceNow is a merit.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 10 and 11.
- ITIL certifications or knowledge are merited.
- Ability to communicate clearly in Swedish, both oral and written, to explain solutions and instructions effectively.
- B driving license for manual transmission is mandatory for driving pool vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Operate in service management and ticketing systems to provide efficient technical support.
- Collaborate with customers and colleagues to deliver timely and quality IT support solutions.
- Continuously learn and share technical knowledge to improve service delivery.
- Maintain calm and productivity under pressure and challenging situations.
Required hard skills:
- User support and IT troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 10 & 11
- Use of ticketing systems (ServiceNow experience is merited)
- ITIL knowledge or certification (merited)
