IT Support Technician position at Statens institutionsstyrelse (SiS), a government agency responsible for compulsory care for youth with complex psychosocial problems and adults with substance abuse issues. The role involves providing first- and second-line IT support at the head office in Solna, supporting the entire organization.
Main requirements:
- Broad technical knowledge and enthusiasm for the IT support role.
- Post-secondary IT education or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in IT support.
- At least 1 year experience working with an issue tracking system such as Jira.
- Good knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft Office 2021, and Active Directory.
- Experience with Exchange administration.
- Experience with conference room technology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first- and second-line IT support.
- Receive and register support cases.
- Communicate with users to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
- Manage account and permission handling.
- Install and troubleshoot computers, phones, and other IT equipment.
- Order computers, phones, and related subscriptions.
- Provide technical support in conference rooms and meetings.
- Manage and administer government ID cards.
- Maintain registers and document procedures and instructions.
- Advise and educate employees as needed.
