Line Manager HVDC System Performance

Lead and develop the HVDC System Performance team responsible for overall performance of HVDC transmission links and interaction with AC-networks. Manage a team of 15-20 professionals, ensuring adequate resources, development, and alignment with company culture and values. Motivate and support team members to achieve their potential while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Main requirements:
  • Experience in HVDC technology or System Performance studies
  • Prior leadership role experience such as Line Manager or Project Manager
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of Swedish is a plus
  • Ability to work analytically and structured
  • Responsible and quality-focused work ethic
Responsibilities:
  • Build and develop the team including recruitment, training, and development initiatives
  • Provide strategic direction, leadership, and coordinate the team's function
  • Collaborate with other managers within system studies
  • Plan staffing and adjust according to business needs short-term and long-term
  • Develop team processes and tools
  • Prepare and manage annual budget within constraints
  • Participate in full design process from technology development to verification in HVDC projects
