IT Service Manager for Data and Analytics

Lead IT service management for data and analytics to support Region Östergötland's transition towards an information-driven organization, enhancing data handling and analysis capabilities to improve healthcare services.
Main requirements:
  • Higher education with a technical focus.
  • Several years of experience in IT, data, or digitalization, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong ability to understand technical interrelations at both micro and macro levels.
  • Experience in technical project or service management.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and PM3 is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver IT services that enhance the organization's data-driven decision-making.
  • Work closely with operational units and development teams to drive development and coordinate resources according to the management plan.
  • Hold financial responsibility and follow up on contracts and collaborations with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee services, tools, data platforms, and technical solutions for monitoring, statistical processing, production control, master data management, and calculations.
  • Explore and implement artificial intelligence (AI) opportunities to strengthen analyses and decision processes.
  • Further develop the organization's data platform to enable advanced analytics and faster data availability.
  • Collaborate with other regions and universities for knowledge exchange and joint development projects.
Required hard skills:
  • IT service management and technical project leadership.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and PM3 frameworks.
  • Experience with databases and BI tools like T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, MDX, DAX, and Power BI.
  • Information visualization skills.
