IT Security Specialist / Penetration Tester

Join FRA and contribute to Sweden's security and integrity through unique tasks as an IT Security Specialist. You will conduct advanced IT security reviews, including penetration testing, provide security advice, and lead workshops to strengthen Sweden's cyber defense.
Main requirements:
  • Technical education or equivalent experience in relevant IT fields.
  • Multiple years of professional experience in IT-related tasks.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in one or more relevant technology areas such as network technology, operating systems, system administration, intrusion detection, system development, web applications, hardware, or mobile devices.
  • Strong ability to explain technical problems clearly both orally and in writing.
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct IT security assessments including penetration tests of complex IT infrastructure for external clients.
  • Provide security advice for various technical implementations.
  • Develop and deliver competence-enhancing activities like workshops and lectures.
  • Work independently and in small teams with varying skill sets depending on assignments.
  • Continuously develop personal and unit competencies to stay ahead.
  • Travel within Sweden and occasionally abroad as part of assignments.

  • Experience with offensive IT security tools (e.g., BloodHound, Metasploit, Impacket, Burp Suite)
  • Driving license (B)
