IT Security Manager at MUST

As an IT Security Manager at MUST, you will develop IT and information security within the framework of protective security. You will design policies, regulations, and other rules in the information security area, support accreditation processes, conduct security analyses, plan security measures, and carry out controls at military foreign stations. You will stay updated on technological development and adversaries' methods to stay ahead, contributing daily to Sweden's security in a meaningful and stimulating role.
Main requirements:
- Relevant academic degree, e.g., cyber/information security or systems science, or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of professional experience in IT security, information security, or cybersecurity.
- Excellent spoken and written Swedish skills.
- Good spoken and written English skills.
- Valid B driving license.
Responsibilities:
- Develop IT security and information security policies, regulations, and frameworks within protective security.
- Support operational accreditation processes including preparation of documentation and collaboration within MUST.
- Assist in producing protective security analyses and security plans.
- Conduct periodic and ad hoc inspections at Försvarsmaktens foreign stations according to applicable regulations.
- Stay current with technological developments and adversaries' methods to proactively secure systems.
Required hard skills:
- Policy development in information security.

- Fluent Swedish and English communication skills.
- Driving license B.
Recommended hard skills:
- IT Security Manager or Security Manager training.
- Experience with protective security work.
- Experience leading information security through management of information systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 27000-series, NIST SP 800-series, or equivalent standards.
- Experience handling complex investigations in governmental agencies.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISO, or CISM.
- Experience from similar positions within the Swedish Armed Forces.
- Experience with accreditation processes and IT development in governmental agencies.
