IT Management Leader

As an IT Management Leader (Förvaltningsledare IT), you will lead multiple teams responsible for application management in the electricity market domain, managing the IT delivery part and collaborating closely with system owners, specialists, architects, and business management. You will also act as an application specialist and system owner for some systems, responsible for fulfilling agreed commitments between IT and the business, managing budgets, resources, suppliers, and ensuring adherence to management plans.
Main requirements:
  • University degree (120p/180hp) e.g., B.Sc./M.Sc. in IT or equivalent minimum 10 years work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT management in a personnel-leading role such as IT management leader, product owner, or project leader.
  • Minimum 5 years as application specialist or system owner for Generis (Hansen MDM) and Oracle SQL.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT collaboration between organizations at Nordic or European level, including contract design for hosting, support, maintenance, infrastructure, and service levels.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in system testing and acceptance testing.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop management plans in cooperation with business managers, delegate and follow up on yearly recurring management activities per system and/or process.
  • Prioritize and decide within the management plan framework regarding project deliveries and management activities.
  • Report status and deviations to object owners and steering groups.
  • Responsible together with resource owners for budget, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Act as escalation point for serious incidents.
  • Represent the customer and collaborate with stakeholders from external organizations at Nordic and European levels.
  • Responsible for drafting and monitoring compliance of contracts with external suppliers.
  • Collaborate with other management leaders to coordinate assignments and activities.
  • Coordinate project requirements from a management perspective to ensure effective handover to operations.
  • Ensure strategic decisions are matched by necessary activities and changes within the management object.
  • Manage operation and maintenance for systems within responsibility and coordinate dependencies with other management areas.
  • Translate business requirements into system requirements.
  • Ensure technical changes do not compromise operational reliability and existing functionality (change management).
  • Plan deployments (release and deployment management).
  • Coordinate and execute system tests.
  • Maintain ongoing management documentation.
  • Follow up and act on system-level statistics.
  • Report status and deviations to object management.
  • Ensure incident management.
  • Administer issue tracking systems within the area of responsibility.
  • Initiate and drive continuous improvement within the responsibility area.
Required hard skills:
  • Knowledge of Generis (Hansen MDM) product and Oracle SQL.
  • Experience in IT management leadership with personnel responsibility.
  • Skills in contract design and supplier management for IT services.
  • Expertise in system and acceptance testing.
  • Bridging technical and business requirements into system specifications.
