IT Governance Leader

Lead and manage IT governance for critical electricity preparedness and security systems at Svenska Kraftnät, ensuring availability, safety, and functionality within a key societal operation.
Main requirements:
  • Experience leading teams with at least five direct reports.
  • Proficient in managing supplier contracts and negotiations.
  • Experienced in budget planning and forecasting.
  • Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Higher education in computer science, systems development, or equivalent.
  • Ability to work strategically with IT governance and development issues.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple resources and collaborate with business governance leaders to plan and report to IT and business owners.
  • Ensure agreed commitments between IT and business units are fulfilled.
  • Develop governance plans and participate in budgeting processes.
  • Drive work according to governance plans, initiate development activities in close collaboration with business.
  • Manage IT system budgets and resource allocation.
  • Handle supplier relationships, follow-up, and reporting to IT and business.
  • Contribute to general business development in application management and development.
Required hard skills:
