The Swedish Armed Forces seek an IT Architect to join their Technology and Maintenance Office Command Systems (TVK Ledsyst) to drive change, create structure, and contribute to an innovative organization. Main requirements:
  • Relevant technical education or equivalent work experience in technology, systems, or business development
  • Relevant higher education or equivalent experience as judged by employer
  • Experience in technical development, systematic work, and change management
  • Analytical ability with capacity to see the big picture without losing details
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in complex environments
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Good knowledge of application platforms including cloud-based platforms and services
  • Possession of a B driving license
Responsibilities:
  • Govern architecture and develop target states, driving architecture towards these goals
  • Support realization of business needs, purposes, goals, visions, and strategies within the application domain
  • Ensure a long-term holistic perspective within the application domain
  • Develop design rules and governance for the application domain
  • Participate in and drive preparation of development efforts linked to the application domain
  • Review and evaluate applications, IT systems, and IT services
  • Actively participate in projects explaining application architecture, rules, and governance
  • Support development of new applications, IT systems, and IT services
  • Conduct environmental scanning to maintain relevant competence and architecture within the domain
Required hard skills:
  • Technical development experience

Recommended hard skills:
  • Relevant certifications in the competence area
  • Experience with SAFe and agile system development methods
  • Good knowledge of modeling in Sparx Enterprise Architect (or equivalent) using Archimate and UAF modeling languages
  • Good knowledge of NAFv4
  • Good knowledge of C3 taxonomy
  • Good knowledge of DevSecOps
