Lead the development and operations of advanced digital infrastructure in a company focused on sustainability and decarbonization. Design, deploy, and maintain digital factory infrastructure to ensure productivity, safety, and sustainability.
Main requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Expertise in Linux and Windows system administration.
  • Several years of experience in modern datacenter operations.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms like VMware or Nutanix.
  • Experience in Infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and user management.
  • Experience in performance monitoring and troubleshooting of hosts, servers, databases, VMs, and containers.
  • Good understanding of networks and network protocols.
  • Experience with data backup solutions.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices including threat analysis, embedding security standards, monitoring, and disaster recovery planning.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee deployment, commissioning, and configuration of digital infrastructure hardware and software.
  • Configure and operate physical servers, storage, backups, datacenter support, and virtualization environments on-premises and in cloud.
  • Work with teams and vendors to design infrastructure and implement best practices.
  • Define operational processes for monitoring and maintaining infrastructure ensuring security, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Develop maintenance and support plans to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align infrastructure with business needs enhancing productivity, safety, and sustainability.
  • Create and document best practices, mentor team members.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 critical infrastructure support.
