Information Security Strategist

Region Uppsala is seeking an Information Security Strategist to contribute to the strategic development and advancement of systematic and risk-based information security efforts. The role involves analyzing legislation, recommendations, and current events to support the organization's security posture, preparing decision-making documents for senior management and political leadership, and collaborating internally and externally to develop guidelines and support within information security.
Main requirements:
  • Swedish citizenship
  • Relevant higher education or equivalent education and work experience
  • Several years of experience in strategic information security work within a larger organization
  • Knowledge of systematic information security work, standards, and legal frameworks
  • Excellent Swedish communication skills both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and strategically advance systematic information security work in line with new technology, requirements, and societal risks
  • Analyze statistics and reports related to information security
  • Prepare consultation responses to authorities
  • Write decision support documents for top management and political leadership
  • Collaborate with internal and external actors including authorities and Region Uppsala's CISO
  • Develop policies, guidelines, and support for various departments within Region Uppsala
