As a Microsoft Entra ID Architect at Epical, you will design, implement, and maintain identity and access solutions leveraging Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory). You will enhance secure application access, improve user experience, and support identity governance strategy across the organization in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role supports the Digital Trust offerings and allows remote work from Sweden or Finland.
Main requirements:
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) architecture, configurations, and best practices within Identity Governance.
  • Knowledge of identity governance and administration (IGA) principles and secure authentication methods such as MFA, SSO, and Conditional Access.
  • Strong ability to assess requirements, design solutions, and document workflows and technical processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
  • Commitment to staying updated on identity and access management (IAM) trends.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain identity and access solutions using Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-Nordic teams to develop scalable, compliant, and innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to identity governance strategy and enforcement including access reviews and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Manage identity lifecycle including automated provisioning and de-provisioning, user role management, and access request handling.
  • Align identity solutions with security and compliance standards such as GDPR and ISO 27001.
Required hard skills:
  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) solution design and implementation experience in medium to large-scale environments.
  • Implementation of Conditional Access Policies based on risk level, device compliance, and user conditions.
  • Experience with Identity Governance including access reviews, RBAC, and entitlements management.
  • Identity Lifecycle Management expertise.
  • Familiarity with Entra ID Sync/Connect and third-party app integration using OpenID Connect, SAML, and OAuth protocols.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
Recommended hard skills:
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.
