IAM Specialist to IT Support Center

Region Sörmland IT is seeking an IAM Specialist to join their Identity and Access Management (IAM) competence center team. The role involves providing technical and operational support to system and service owners by connecting systems to central identity and access management services. The position requires scripting, configuration, integration management, and participation in development and improvement projects within the IAM area.
Main requirements:
  • Provide technical and operational support to system and service owners for connecting systems to central IAM services.
  • Configure and script data integrations and system connections.
  • Manage web services and various integration methods to IDP.
  • Integrate foundational data (LDAP directory) to consuming systems for personal and organizational information.
  • Contribute to development and improvement projects for central identity and access services.
  • Adhere to architectural principles and strategies relevant to IAM, including knowledge of Inera's architecture and HSA.
Responsibilities:
  • Technical and operational assistance in IAM system integration and configuration.
  • Script and configure data connections and web services for identity management.
  • Manage and operate IDP (Phenix ID), Active Directory, MIM, and related portals for access assignment and data management.
  • Collaborate within the IAM competence center team on development, improvement, and project work.
  • Support end users and system owners across Region Sörmland with identity and access management services.
Required hard skills:
  • Web service configuration and management.
  • SAML and OpenID Connect protocols.
  • Experience configuring third-party systems within IAM.
  • Extensive scripting experience, including PowerShell.
  • Data quality management.
  • X500 Directory Database (LDAP) knowledge.
  • SOAP UI for web service testing.
  • Active Directory administration and scripting.
  • Azure AD / Entra management.
  • Experience working in identity and access management (IAM).
Recommended hard skills:
  • Knowledge of Customizable Directory Administrator (CDA) administration tool.
  • Understanding of HSA directory and Inera services.
  • Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM).
  • Familiarity with Inera's architecture.
