Main requirements:
  • Academic education or equivalent experience as assessed by employer
  • Documented experience in managerial or leadership positions
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of experienced employees with various competencies within signals protection
  • Further develop own unit as well as signals protection activities within total defense
  • Represent signals protection in meetings and collaboration within the Swedish Armed Forces and other authorities in total defense
Required hard skills:
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Knowledge of signals protection including cryptography, compromising signals management, electronic certificates, active cards
  • Competence in developing and managing regulations, routines, and international agreements related to signals protection
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience working within the Swedish Armed Forces or another government agency
  • Experience in IT
  • Experience with formulation of regulations, agreements or instructions
  • Familiarity with the Swedish Armed Forces’ security regulations and security analyses
  • Experience within signals protection
  • Experience with electronic certificates or compromising signals (Tempest)
