Lead the design, development, and operation of next-generation open fiber network platform at VX Fiber, driving innovation in fibernetwork architecture to transform communities and enable digital freedom.
Main requirements:
  • Proven leadership experience in network engineering within telecom, ISP or fiber infrastructure
  • Deep knowledge of IP networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), broadband provisioning (e.g. DHCP Option 82), and open network concepts
  • Experience delivering disaggregated, API-driven or open standardized network solutions
  • Strong understanding of OSS/BSS platforms and automated network operations
  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities:
  • Own and advance the technical roadmap for VX Fiber's fiber and active network architectures
  • Drive open network design emphasizing modularity, vendor independence, and seamless integration of legacy and new technologies
  • Oversee automation, provisioning, and network operations supported by fullstack OSS/BSS SaaS platform
  • Lead cross-functional technical teams to deliver high-performance, scalable, and reliable infrastructure
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, and service providers to ensure fast onboarding, smooth migrations, and efficient scaling
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and excellence in the global network
