Lead the Network Analysis Region Network North-Central department at Vattenfall Eldistribution, managing development and operations of the regional electrical grid to support Sweden's electrification and fossil-free transition.
Main requirements:
  • Minimum five years leadership experience in network operations or other infrastructure-intensive sector
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through others and achieve results with a team
  • Experience driving change management and developing both operations and individuals
  • Strong communication and attentive leadership style that inspires and engages
  • Strategic capability to assess needs, prioritize initiatives, and make sound decisions
  • Relevant technical academic degree, preferably in electrical power engineering
  • Experience working in process-intensive operations linked to facility investments
  • Experience representing the company externally in panels, customer meetings, etc.
  • Implemented challenging operational changes
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • Possession of a category B driving license
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the Network Analysis Region Network North-Central department
  • Manage results, development, and goal achievement of the department
  • Act as a member of the Network Optimisation management team, contributing to strategic decisions
  • Drive the development of Vattenfall Eldistribution’s regional network to meet electrification goals
  • Manage identification, evaluation, and prioritization of network capacity and structural issues
  • Ensure robust and efficient electricity system short and long term
  • Oversee magnet field calculations and network dimensioning in early project phases
  • Manage operational maintenance of the PSS/E calculation system
  • Define system design requirements through management of the Regional Network Planning Handbook
  • Collaborate closely with other departments including Network Analysis Region South, Asset Management, Customer and Market, and Project Operations
  • Engage with external partners to represent Vattenfall
